Research: My research is focused on developing outreach education programs in entomology & studying their impact on the community.

Get to know me!

1. What is your best study tip?

I think that studying in the library is the way I get the most done. It helps me to be in an environment where everyone else is also working, and in the OSU libraries there is no shortage of people to surround yourself with during finals/midterms!

2. What is your favorite season? And why?

My favorite season is Fall! I love the cool weather, and I think the season really brings out the best of Ohio. It’s a beautiful state, and you really get to appreciate it more than usual when all the colors change on the trees. I also really like all the fall foods and flavors!

3. If your pet could talk, what do you think they might say about you?

I have a pair of honey gourami named Egg and Cheese. If they could talk, I think they’d complain that I don’t feed them every single time I walk up to the tank! I’m not sure they’re smart enough to realize everything I do for them, but they do get excited to see me. I’ve had them for a few months now, and they’re doing great. My shrimp would have plenty of stories to tell about me, though. We go way back. (I got him for free 2 years ago because he snuck in the bag by accident when I was buying a snail at the aquarium store).
