OSU Entomology Department Award Ceremony 2025 (Dec, 10th)

Recently, members of the Ohio State University Entomology Department and the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program—including undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty—gathered to wrap up the year and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our department’s 2025 award recipients.

We also celebrated those who received grants, fellowships, and scholarships, as well as those who served on the Symposium of Zamoranos Committee!

Congratulations as well to all of our award recipients who were unable to attend the Award Ceremony!

We would also like to thank Dr. Perry for assisting with the award presentations!

We recognized the winners of the Department of Entomology Student Research Competition, presenting their awards and taking commemorative photos. In addition, we took time to celebrate those who received awards at the Entomological Society of America Annual Meeting in November, as well as individuals who earned grants, fellowships, and scholarships, and the graduate students who served on the Symposium of Zamoranos committee.

After the awards ceremony, we enjoyed some fun insect-themed games! We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our Social Chairs for their dedication and for organizing activities that brought everyone together and supported our department throughout the year.
