2025 Insect Night Walk (July, 25th)

Every summer, our Entomology Graduate Student Association and Entomology Outreach staff host an Insect Night Walk.

This year, Entomology graduate students and local communities came together to experience the beauty and diversity of night flying insects — from glittering fireflies and singing crickets to huge, colorful moths and iridescent beetles.

Attendees also had the chance to pet a bee, dig for insect fossils, create unique insect art, learn how insects sense the world, and win prizes, making for a fun and engaging evening for everyone.

The event is likely to return next summer, so be sure to follow us on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/egsa_osu/) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/osuegsapage/) to stay updated on the latest news!
